Teenage Holy War
This is how you enlist in the Army of God: First come the fireworks and the prayers, and then 4,000 kids scream, "We won't be silent anymore!" Then the kids drop to their knees, still but for the weeping and regrets of fifteen-year-olds.

SAY THIS PRAYER: Dear Jesus, I am a sinner and am headed to eternal hell because of my sins. I believe you died on the cross to take away my sins and to take me to heaven. Jesus, I ask you now to come into my heart and take away my sins and give me eternal life.
Rev. Spitz,
You are entirely correct. Jesus Camp Christians have as much right to vote as anyone. Fortunately, the United States Constitution allows anyone over the age of 18 to vote because this is a Democratic Republic by and for the People.
You will never hear me (or anyone else associated with this site) ever propose that this shouldn't be the case, so I'm not sure why you felt you needed to make an issue about it.
As far as I can tell, there is nothing in the article (which we linked to) that proposes such a thing, so the inspiration for your statement is a mystery to us.
However, I do think it is interesting that you, a "reverend," feel the need to resort to name calling. Certainly, this is not what your Jesus had in mind when he spoke about judging not lest ye be judged or doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.
One would almost conclude that you might be a reverend of some other religion, besides the Christian one, if it weren't for the prayer you insist be said.
Finally, as far as the prayer goes, I suggest you not hold your breath. I don't engage in superstitious rituals based on ignorance and nonsense.
